2024 Quebec Start-Up Track

Managed by Cycle Momentum, an international accelerator and open innovation platform uniting entrepreneurs, investors, and innovators to address ecological challenges, the Climate Solutions Prize - Quebec Start-Up Track will award the best and brightest Climate Tech startups throughout Quebec with access to investment, prizes, and exposure.The prize of $300,000 will be awarded to two (2) winners, in recognition of their innovative solutions that will help fight our climate crisis:$150,000 will be awarded to a start-up at the pre-commercialisation stage1 in the form of an equity investment$150,000 will be awarded to a start-up at the commercialisation stage2 in the form of an equity investment1) A company that generates no revenue or less than $25,000 of annual recurring revenue2) A company that generates more than $25,000 of annual recurring revenueThe Climate Solutions Prize - Quebec Start-Up Track aims to inspire future innovators to channel their ingenuity to find solutions to climate change by funding the largest incentive prize in Quebec.The primary objective of Cycle Momentum with the Origo program is to address the challenges faced by startups in accessing funding during the pre-seed and seed stages. Investments are contingent upon due diligence and approval by Cycle Momentum. Prizes will be provided in the form of investments through Cycle Momentum's Origo investment matching program, with terms based on an industry-standard convertible note. 2024 Quebec Breakthrough Research Prize

The Breakthrough Research Prize powered by JNF Canada in partnership with 2degrés and Cycle Momentum, proposes to galvanize Quebec, to curb the climate crisis.It aims to support and inspire increased research and development for breakthrough climate solutions by awarding the best and the brightest not-for-profit researchers and/or organizations throughout Quebec with the prize’s funding and recognition.The prize of $250,000 will be granted to two (2) winners, annually, in recognition of their work on promising solutions to our climate crisis.1st place will receive $150,000 followed by the 2nd prize winner receiving $100,000.Proposals will be evaluated by a world-class judging panel and the recipients will be announced during a live competition in Quebec which will be broadcasted, worldwide.
