Gregg Maryniak is the co-founder and first executive director of the XPRIZE Foundation, an international non-profit organization that designs large-scale competitions to stimulate technological development. To date, over $519 million in prizes have been awarded to more than 35,000 innovators in 173 countries. Gregg will talk to us about the power of incentive competitions and their role as catalysts for inspiring innovative technological solutions to climate change.

Recipient of one of the largest seed rounds in Canada, Deep Sky's mission is to remove billions of tons of carbon from the atmosphere and permanently store them underground. During his presentation, Fred Lalonde will explain how Deep Sky is developing innovative infrastructure to eliminate CO2 on a large scale while respecting the environment.
